So I’ve been reading a lot of Jules Verne lately amongst other Victorian era adventure novelists and got the headcanon that Kozmotis wrote like one.
He either kept a journal (with pictures) and/or wrote letters to Tsar Lunar and his daughter. Somehow his journal(s?) or a collection of letters made their way to Earth. One of the Guardians(or maybe Mother Nature or MiM) translate it into English and gives both copies to Jamie as a gift.
It’s a huge hit with Jamie and his friends. Suddenly General Kozmotis Pitchiner is, at least, Jamie’s hero. He wants to grow up to be just like the war hero; traveling to distant lands (planets), meeting strange people (races), and fighting the forces of evil. Jamie drives his mom crazy enough about the whole thing she helps him get some of the pictures enlarged into posters.
Meanwhile, Pitch drags himself out of his lair, weak but bent on revenge. Starting with the child that caused all his plans to fall apart. Except when he reaches Jamie Bennett’s room, he’s sidetracked by the familiar looking pictures decorating the boy’s wall….
This one is for pretzel-log1c, who asked for someone to fill this prompt, a challenge which I gladly accepted and then…didn’t complete. Until now, that is.
All the best things happen when I do MIA from Tumblr, I swear. SO happy to see this filled. Thank you!

THIS IS THE FACE OF TERROR, PEOPLE.
No, but seriously - if you want to see something bloody with bunny rabbits in it, just go watch Watership Down.
This is an actual movie.
I can’t even with this.
internet status: still have it (no need for 4g on phone yet)
current location: house and pet sitting at sister’s
est. snowfall: ~8 inches storm going strong
comments: My sister owns a dog and a cat. My sister’s dog is something of a priss and doesn’t like to go outside in the snow. Given the current amount of snow on the ground this is problematic. Especially since my sister’s dog is a pug (est. 14 inches of height).
To make matters infinitely worse, my sister has steps outside her front door that were initially so covered with snow (est. 6 inches) I could not actually see the stairs. So I had to shovel the stairs AND part of the yard for my sister’s small and prissy dog.
On the bright side the snow’s pretty light at the moment so it only took twenty minutes or so to accomplish.
… except I’m going to have to keep shoveling all day until the snow stops.
Seriously, it’s only been about 20 minutes since I was out there and the snow’s already close to an inch on the steps again and the yard I cleared is covered once more. TWENTY MINUTES!
conclusion: Next time my sister goes on vacation and leaves me to house/pet sit during a snow storm she is buying puppy pads.
The suggestion was "A powerswap AU with Jack Black and Pitch Frost!”
Now the suggestion also mentioned the Tooth Palace, which i sketched, but shit happened when i started painting……………
I sort of imagine there are several “mythological/fairytale” beings homes/lairs around the world, though hidden to the rest of us. Pitch Frost is the intellectual curious one, and seek those out, once upon a time he sought out the boogeyman’s lair, which is going to haunt him for a good eternity. (This is not meant to be Jack’s lair, he’s just haunting/stalking Pitch)
the things you find on the error page. I cannot look away.
Hard to believe it’s been a year since I made this. It was from an old black and white Band-Aid commercial that used this effect when the kids were injured while playing. I put the color bands on and posted it.
I could stare at this forever.
